NaNoWriMo, a journey of persisance

NaNoWriMo, a journey of persisance

I sit here, with more than half of November gone. I never knew that signing up for NaNoWriMo, a 50,000 words in 30 days novel writing competition, would push me to work harder than I ever have.

This project has helped me see past the impossible constructs of writing a novel, and leap beyond my imagination to my current standing of 31,025 words!

I write a lot of 100 words or less snippets of life, or what are called “short shorts” and never thought I had enough in me to write 50K on a continuous plot line and character subject. This challenge is not for the faint of heart, but is a great experience for anyone willing to stretch their limits and grow exponentially. 🙂
